Michelle provides the following mental health evaluations related to immigration proceedings:

(evaluations can be provided on an expedited basis as needed)

Asylum

Documenting psychological evidence of persecution experienced in a home country, based on membership in a particular social group
Addressing whether psychological factors may have impacted the client’s ability to meet the one-year filing deadline

Hardship waivers /

Cancellation of Removal

Documenting psychosocial factors contributing to extreme or exceptional and unusual hardship for a qualifying relative if separated from their family member or if they relocate with their family member

VAWA

(Violence Against Women Act)

Assessing and documenting the psychological impact of intimate partner violence

U Visa

Assessing and documenting the emotional impact of crime victimization to determine if there is permanent or serious harm to the client’s psychological health

~ Evaluations are offered via telehealth for clients physically located in Massachusetts or Vermont (note that clients do not need to be residents of MA or VT, they simply need to be located in one of those states at the time of the evaluation)

~ In-person evaluations are available as-needed on the north shore in Massachusetts

~ Urgent evaluations are available upon request for an additional fee
